Understanding the Forge
Every weapon and armor piece in Roblox The Forge is created by combining ores. The specific ores you pick, the world you're in, and the total number of ores determine what comes out. This isn't a slot machine — the math is deterministic once you understand the inputs.
Your First Recipe
For your first forge, use 6-10 common ores from World 1. Iron, Copper, Tin, Silver. The result won't be legendary, but it'll teach you how the calculator numbers translate to actual weapon stats in-game.
Reading Multipliers
The multiplier column on each ore page tells you how much that ore boosts the final weapon damage. Combined multiplier across your 3-ore recipe is what determines your damage tier.
Trait Activation
Traits only activate if enough ores carrying that trait are in your recipe. The threshold is usually 20% or 30% of your total ore count. Miss the threshold and the trait does nothing.
Common Beginner Mistakes
Wasting rare ores on early-world forges. Mixing armor weight classes. Ignoring trait activation math. Not using the calculator before committing.
